New Ugly Dollar Coins Coming
I’m all for using coins instead of dollar bills. Everyone says they are too heavy and they want fewer coins in their pocket not more. I like coins, though. I have no good argument on my behalf.
So I was excited to read that the new dollar coins are coming this week. The coins will portray U.S. presidents in the order they served, starting with Washington. Then I saw images of the first four coins to be released and was shocked at how shitty they look. Washington and Jefferson are just okay, but Adams and Madison suck. Hopefully they look better in hand than they do in the photographs, but Adams looks like some sort of a fat rodent, and Madison looks like he has a shiner.
